What is the civics code?

Assuming that you don’t mean a general definition for the expectation of a citizen’s behaviour in Canada, but rather the Grade 10 half-credit course that all students in Ontario have to take in order to complete their diplomas, the answer is …   CHV2O1. 

Note that the 6^th character in the code may be different from “1” to indicate a specific grouping of students in the Civics class:  eg. “CHV2O1” is a regular Civics class, but “CHV2O8” is a Civics class for ESL students, and “CHV2O9” is for Special Ed students, etc. 

By the way, the other half-credit course that complements Civics is the Career Studies studies, and the code is GLC2O1.

 We roll two different timetables. I have attached an image of a page from our school agenda document that is distributed at the beginning of each school year.
